Category: Cae Bodfach

Cae Bodfach is located behind Llanfyllin Spar, between the town and the river Cain. There is a young forest garden, with apples, pears, cherries, medlars, raspberries and currants, as well as a herb garden and the supporting plant guilds. The garden became slightly over-grown during the Covid lockdown, and the trees need substantial pruning to return to full productivity. We are currently in the process of mapping the trees and shrubs, and giving the plants the care and attention they need to provide a rich and varied crop for Llanfyllin residents, as well as providing shelter and respite for people and wildlife.
